Headquartered in Highlands Ranch, Highlands Property Management specializes in residential property management in the Denver Metro area. The company can trace its roots back more than 20 years in the Denver Metro Area. In early 2006, Highlands Property Management purchased the assets of R&S Realty and Property Management, a continuation of the original company which was founded in the 1980s.
Company President Sherman Macdaniel has a long history in the real estate business. In the early 1980's, after graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Economics, he jumped into investment real estate in Houston, Texas. He went to work for The Investment Group, specializing in selling 100+ unit apartment complexes and local retail centers. His experience also includes supervising a 170-unit apartment complex rehab project, as well as owning and managing several retail, office, and small industrial buildings.
Having successfully survived the Real Estate and Banking collapse in Houston, Sherman embarked upon a new career as a stock broker in Phoenix. For more than ten years, he was a licensed stockbroker, becoming a top producer for Prudential Investments.

In 2005 he and his family relocated to Denver. With Highlands Property Management, Sherman combines his previous experience in real estate, property management, and investments. He is an independent real estate broker licensed by the state of Colorado.
Highlands Property Management has two goals:
1. To serve families in the Denver Metro area who need reasonably-priced, well-maintained, homes and condos to rent.
2. To provide property owners with management that preserves and enhances their real estate assets, while maximizing the properties' profitability.
We support these goals with hard work, good communication, and integrity in everything we do.
